Hello! My name is Chuan Wang. I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at the University of Florida.
My dissertation is titled "Manufactured Mobility: The State and the People in the Chinese Automobile Industry." In the project, I examine the meaning-making process of automobile and car-oriented mobility that reflects China’s socioeconomic and political transformations.
My research interests include International Political Sociology, International Political Economy, Mobility Studies, Science, Technology, and Society Studies.
